The big fennel
2009
The big fennel is a totally hand-crafted furniture accessory made with colombino technique, to give it an intentional “unique” appearance and to place it one step aside from classic industrial ceramics.
Painted with azure-hyacinth engobe, then sprayed with crystalline to make it shiny and waterproof.
The waterproof interior allows Big Fennel to be used as a sculpture umbrella holder.
The shape resembles a Big Fennel, futuristic and stylized.
