Primates Mask
Ceramic masks for Bosa
2018
A collection in fine ceramic, designed to remind us of the delicate relationship between man and ape. The ape is the animal that best evokes man, in the shape of the body, expressions and movements.
This power of similarity to man is what makes it fascinating and what inspired the creation of these vases, whose “soul” is encompassed in the details and colourful textures. They come into our home and seduce us with their vital force.
The decorative ceramic plates, illustrated with sketches and inspirations by Elena Salmistraro: edged by a light frame, the plates feature with six different themes and two different sizes.
In 2018 Bosa presents the Primates masks, wall sculptures to hang as domestic totem.
