Opus - Aeroad CFR

When they asked me to put my creativity to work on a bicycle, an image immediately sprang to mind: a bike in motion, speeding towards the sun, with light dancing on its surfaces creating plays of color like in a kaleidoscope. I thought it was a perfect combination of modernity and fun, ideal for attracting attention with its explosion of colors and details. This vision guided my work, and I aimed to capture that magical effect.

To bring this concept to reality, I worked on the surface of the bike frame, adding a series of gradual effects that resemble light reflections, thus generating a dynamic and vibrant play of colors. The colors blend delicately with each other, creating a fluid and dynamic transition. I also included pinpoint reflections that reinforce the idea of movement and freedom, intrinsic characteristics of a bicycle.

Despite my highly technological approach, I felt that a touch of humanity was missing. This is where I had the idea to add blue lines: thin but decisive, similar to fingerprints or drops of water, which interrupt and emphasize the composition. I imagined that each fingerprint could represent the direct contact of the cyclist with the bicycle, almost like a personal signature. This detail not only adds an element of human connection but also gives a sense of uniqueness and individuality to the overall design.

The result is a harmonious mix of modernity, fun, and emotional connection.
