The Mutant Fish

The totem, depicting a large fish with a man in its mouth, takes on a complex meaning through a playful and provocative language—highlighted by touches of irony and a hint of sarcasm.

The tension between predation and rebirth offers an opportunity to reflect on the cyclical nature of life and its challenges. The myth of the eternal struggle between predator and prey blends with the possibility of transformation and renewal, even emerging from seemingly destructive situations.

The large mutant fish symbolizes the challenges we face, representing forces and events that appear to swallow us whole. The act of eating and feeding becomes a form of absorption and assimilation, transforming the individual into something new.

The man inside the fish represents the ability to face challenges with creativity and resilience, embodying the metaphor of death and rebirth. Even when it seems that destructive forces have consumed us, there remains the possibility of emerging transformed and renewed.
