Succulentia
Vases and centerpieces for Bosa
2026
The SUCCULENTIA collection comprises three vases and a ceramic centerpiece — distinct objects, yet connected through the same formal and narrative language.
The forms originate from a free observation of the vegetal world, particularly succulent plants, not as an exercise in reproduction, but rather as a process of understanding structure. From this emerge full and fleshy volumes, at once soft and angular, existing in a constant balance between organicity and geometric rigor. Each element is distilled to its clear and unequivocal three-dimensional essence, almost archetypal, yet never rigid.
The collection moves within a continuous short circuit between the natural and the artificial, between what grows spontaneously and what is the result of design. The vase, traditionally conceived as a container for the plant, here subverts its role and becomes a plant itself. It does not contain, but rather coincides. Container and content merge into a single body. A subtle reflection on contemporaneity, shaped by constant overlaps between the real and the digital, between function and representation.
SUCCULENTIA is a decorative and ironic collection, yet at the same time lucid and self-aware. Color is used as an emotional language, while ceramics become an expressive medium. These are objects that do not ask for explanations, but invite themselves to be observed and recognized.
