Centrino 

With Centrino, I set out to create more than just a decorative object—I wanted to capture the soul of Sicily and transform its essence into a piece that evokes emotion and tells a story.

Inspired by the majestic presence of Mount Etna, a symbol of strength and resilience, I sought to reinterpret its energy and beauty through a design that functions as a vase, a container, and a tray. At its core, a central cylinder extends outward toward the three points of the Trinacria, weaving together clean, precise geometric forms in a contemporary and innovative language.

This piece is also a tribute to Sicily’s rich artisanal heritage. It echoes the tradition of the finely embroidered centrini that have adorned Sicilian homes for generations, transforming their delicate craftsmanship into a modern composition of wood and metal. Centrino is a bridge between past and present, tradition and innovation—a timeless dialogue between history and the future.
